For the Community menu:
The music wing of Joppa Hall features two major recital and concert performance spaces; one that seats an audience of approximately 100 and another that seats about 60.
Additional performance spaces within Joppa Hall are used for the presentation of public performances such as the Sunday Afternoon Concert Series, the Evening of Jazz Concert Series, as well as student solo and ensemble recitals.

Cristian Perez Quintet

Argentine guitarist/composer, Cristian Perez, is joined by flute, bandoneon, upright bass, and drums to create a hybrid ensemble that is equal parts jazz combo, chamber ensemble, and world music troupe.
Arnold Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire

A sextet, including Aaron Thacker (piano), Katie Procell (voice) and Alan Buxbaum (conductor), to perform Arnold Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire, a dark and haunting early-20th Century classic that explores topics of love, violence, and passions of the soul.

Composer/violinist and HCC studio faculty member Christopher Ciampoli presents music ranging from J. S. Bach’s solo pieces to his own 21st-century ensemble compositions.
