Former Harford Community College student Frances Munn Roberts, who took Professor of Arts and Humanities Colleen Webster's writing classes at HCC between 2001 and 2003, just published her first novel, The War Brides of 24th Street.
The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will meet in open session on Tuesday, November 13, at 6 PM in the James F. LaCalle Conference Room 132, Edgewood Hall.
Harford Community College will launch the Next-Generation Accuplacer tests November 1 for students taking and retaking the Accuplacer tests.

Rogue Swan Theatre and the HCC Actors Guild will present Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf November 30 and December 1 (Friday and Saturday) at 8 PM and December 2 (Sunday) at 3 PM in Harford Community College’s Blackbox Theater in Joppa Hall.
As part of Harford Community College’s strategic planning efforts, the College will be hosting a Future Summit on Friday, November 9, from 1 to 4 PM in the APGFCU Arena. The Summit—a meeting of legislators, educators, entrepreneurs, and other leaders from Harford County and across Maryland—will enable the larger community to provide guidance on the future direction of the College. Registration and refreshments begin at 12:30 PM.
Nationally-recognized cookbook author Kerry Dunnington is coming to Harford Community College’s Edgewood Hall, Room 132 on Saturday, October 27 at 3 PM.
The Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students. To be eligible for membership into the Rho Beta Chapter, a student must have completed 12 credit hours at HCC and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5.
On Tuesday, October 2, Harford Community College was honored to host Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford on campus. He toured the campus and met with current and former students to discuss HCC’s Workforce Development training programs.
